She’s worked with clients of diverse ages, ethnicities and backgrounds across various settings, from schools and government to private practice. She draws on different evidence-based interventions to tailor her sessions to the individual needs of my clients, including Person-Centred Counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, as well as Eating Disorder Interventions (Enhanced-Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Family Based Therapy).

Claire has completed additional training to work with young people and adults experiencing eating disorders, disordered eating, and body image concerns.

She supports clients and families facing these challenges with a client-centred and multidisciplinary approach, which often involves a medical practitioner, dietetics practitioner, and the client’s support network, which may include family or friends.

She works with clients on individual and family-based levels to ensure they receive the best treatment for eating-related concerns.
